Nový firmware přináší docela velkou řadu novinek a pár oprav. Pokud zařízení používáte, určitě se vyplatí věnovat chvíli na aktualizaci.

PocketBook Touch – nový firmware 4.2

Novinky vytažené z PDF:

  • New service ‘Send-to-PocketBook’ — the ability to send books to your device using the email message with attached file(s), book(s).
  • New service ‘Dropbox PocketBook’, which allows to download files, added to Dropbox,onto the PocketBook device, and to upload books from the Device to the Dropbox server, to sync information about added and deleted books.
  • Redesigned the ‘Settings’ interface and the interface of Wi-Fi connections.
  • Improved work with footnotes (links) in EPUB, PDF documents.
  • New design of «go to page» in the reading mode.
  • Selection of the current chapter in the book’s contents.
  • Increased speed of opening EPUB books.
  • The ability to create a new account in the application «Book Store».
  • Development of the ‘Browser’ application.
  • Optimized work of the «Library» application to be able to operate with a large number of books.
  • The ability to read password-protected PDF documents.
  • The ability to edit the RSS feed name.

Postup aktualizace je velice jednoduchý:

  • stáhnete a někam si rozbalíte tento soubor (130 MB)
  • zkopírujete SWUPDATE.BIN do kořenové složky čtečky
  • odpojíte od PC
  • v menu Nastavení > Údržba > Aktualizovat software

PocketBook Touch – nový firmware 4.2

Celá aktualizace trvá tak 10 minut a v informacích pak najdete verzi D622.4.4.565. Předchozí (srpnová) verze byla D622.4.2.244.
